It's been hot out there, but not too hot to fish

It has been incredibly hot this week - over 30 degrees in sunny Suffolk - and the fishing has slowed down a little. But that hasn't stopped our anglers from catching some decent fish. We had a bream fishing champion here and he had a fantastic week catching dozens of bream to 4lbs mostly on red pellet in the margins. We have had carp into the high singles, both in the margins around the reeds on the pole, and out in the middle where it gets to 20 feet deep. And we have had tench to 3lbs falling to corn and also paste. Not bad considering most of our guests have enjoyed the fabulous weather with a cold one in the hot tub as much as fishing! To top it all, our resident kingfisher has been spotted darting across the lake on several occasions.
