Spring means ... the fish are biting ...

As all anglers know it can be tough going over the Winter, as most fish go into a kind of semi-hibernation and refuse to feed on anything that we try to tempt them with. But now Spring has well and truly sprung, things have changed here are Badwell Ash Holiday Lodges. Big 100+ hauls of silver fish have been falling to maggot on light tackle, with roach and rudd to 2lbs caught. Tench to 4lbs and big bream have been taking luncheon meat and sweetcorn. And carp to 17.5lbs have been taking pellets and boilies. We'll stop writing now and let the following pictures do the talking, all fish captured here over the last few weeks:
